Strumica
Strumica ( ) is the largest city in eastern Republic of Macedonia, near the Novo Selo-Petrich border crossing with Bulgaria. About 100,000 people live in the region surrounding the city. It is named after the Strumica River which runs through it. The city of Strumica is the seat of Strumica Municipality.

Orten har ungefär 55 000 invånare och 90% av invånarna är av makedonsk etnicitet. Omkring 150 000 personer bor i den omkringliggande regionen. Staden är döpt efter floden Strumica som rinner genom staden. Orten är också huvudort i en kommun med samma namn.
