Synonym of E.g. records
E.G. Records
E.G. Records was a UK-based artist management company and record label, mostly active during the 1970s and 1980s. The initials stand for David Enthoven and John Gaydon. The pair signed on as managers of King Crimson in early 1969, during the formative stage of the band and prior to the release of debut In The Court Of The Crimson King. They also signed to management T.Rex, Emerson Lake and Palmer and Roxy Music. Gaydon left in 1971 and Enthoven in 1977. Sam Alder and Mark Fenwick formed the label several years later, releasing material from King Crimson, in addition to others such as Brian Eno, Killing Joke, Loose Tubes, Human Chain, Man Jumping, Iain Ballamy, Earthworks, and U.K.
E.G. Records
E.G. Records var et tidligere britiskbasert artistadministrasjons– og plateselskap som for det meste var aktivt på 1970- og 1980-tallet. Initialene stod for David Enthoven og John Gaydon, som var grunnleggerne av selskapet. Disse to signerte som managere for progrockbandet King Crimson tidlig i 1969, under grunnleggelsen av bandet og før deres første utgivelse In The Court Of The Crimson King kom ut.
