Diablo II
Diablo II, sequel to the popular game Diablo, is a dark fantasy-themed action role-playing game in a hack and slash or "Dungeon Roaming" style. It was released for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS in 2000 by Blizzard Entertainment. Diablo II was developed by Blizzard North. By April 2001, Diablo II had become one of the most popular online games ever. Major factors that contributed to Diablo II's success include what fans found to be addictive hack and slash gameplay and free access to Battle.net. Diablo II may be played as a single player game, multi-player via a LAN, or multi-player via Battle.net, with the latter being the most popular. It has also become one of the top thirty best selling computer games ever. Including Diablo II, the Diablo series has sold 17 million copies.

Diablo II - druga część gry komputerowej Diablo, typu RPG (hack'n'slash). Elementem, który przeważył o dużej popularności tej gry jest Battle.net, czyli opcja gry dla wielu graczy za pomocą internetu. Diablo II jest znacznie większe niż Diablo - rozległy świat gry złożony jest z czterech "aktów" (oraz piątego dodanego w Diablo II: Lord of Destruction), z których każdy składa się z wielu powiązanych ze sobą obszarów. Ilość dostępnych klas postaci została powiększona z trzech do pięciu (plus dwie w dodatku), a także dodano nowe rodzaje przedmiotów - rzadkie oraz zestawy. Silnik gry pozwala na znacznie większe zróżnicowanie wyglądu postaci w zależności od noszonych przedmiotów, dodano zdolność biegania, wygodny klawisz umożliwiający podgląd przedmiotów leżących na ziemi, skrzynie w której gracz przechowuje swoje przedmioty i wiele więcej.

È un videogioco di avventura appartenente al genere Action RPG, con elementi tipici dei giochi di ruolo ma orientato prevalentemente all'azione. È stato rilasciato nel giugno del 2000 per piattaforma Microsoft Windows e Mac OS (tuttavia, mentre tutte le versioni hanno conservato la polivalenza "mac os/pc game", dalla versione italiana è stata escluso l'addattament per mac. Non esiste inoltre una localizzazione italiana per la versione mac.) dalla Blizzard Entertainment.

Diablo II es la secuela del popular juego de rol/acción de ordenador Diablo. Fue realizado en versiones para Windows (98/2000 y talvez XP) y Mac OS en el año 2000 por Blizzard North, una división de Blizzard Entertainment. En el año 2001 se convierte en uno de los juegos más populares de tipo on-line gracias entre otros aspectos a los servidores gratuitos que Blizzard pone a disposición de este juego, formando la red Battle.net. Diablo II también puede jugarse en modo de 1 jugador, mediante una red LAN o mediante servidores basados en protocolo TCP/IP.

Släpptes till Windows och Mac OS 2000 av Blizzard Entertainment. Spelet kan både spelas i singelplayer och multiplayer (där både över LAN och över Blizzards Battle.net).

Diablo II je pocítacová hra od spolecnosti Blizzard Entertainment žánru RPG. Tvurci dali hrácum príležitost se v tomto svete projít trikrát se stejnou postavou, ale vždy na jiné obtížnosti. Hráci pak vytváreli další módy zvyšující obtížnost. Hra navazuje na predchozí díl Diablo I. Ve svete Diabla II se hrác obrací do sveta temné gothic fantasy. Jako jeden z peti charakteru prochází ruznými prostredími od poušte pres bažinu až do jiného rozmeru pekla. Možnost vyvinout si vlastní postavu je uprednostnena pred príbehem a dialogy.
