Access Control List
Access Control List, ACL (ang.) - lista kontroli dostępu. W systemach uniksowych poprzez rozszerzenie możliwości systemu plików, umożliwia bardziej rozbudowaną i dokładną kontrolę dostępu do plików, w porównaniu do standardowych uprawnień w systemie.

Standardowe uprawnienia w systemie plików systemu Unix obejmują tylko: zapis, odczyt oraz wykonanie. Każde z uprawnień możemy definiować dla: właściciela pliku (ang. owner), grupy do której on należy (group) oraz pozostałych użytkowników (other).

Natomiast za pomocą ACL możemy ustawić te trzy uprawnienia dla dowolnego użytkownika i grupy. Często ACL definiuje też inne uprawnienia. ACL w Microsoft Windows 2000 (system plików NTFS) definiuje m.in. prawo do przejęcia własności pliku.

ACL (Эй-Си-Эл, — список контроля доступа) — это понятие, используемое в системах с разграничением доступа для перечня субъектов или объектов, а также их групп (группы также называются ролями), с соответствующими разрешениями или запретами к данным и функционалу системы. Список определяет, кто или что может получать доступ к данному объекту и какие операции позволено проводить над объектом. В типичных ACL каждая запись определяет субъект воздействия и операцию: например, запись (Vasya, delete) в ACL для файла XYZ даёт возможность пользователю Vasya удалить файл XYZ.

ACL (anglicky access control list, cesky doslova seznam pro rízení prístupu) je v oblasti pocítacové bezpecnosti seznam oprávnení pripojený k nejakému objektu (napr. souboru). Seznam urcuje, kdo nebo co má povolení pristupovat k objektu a jaké operace s ním muže provádet. V typickém ACL specifikuje každý záznam v seznamu uživatele a operaci. Napríklad: Záznam v ACL [Pepa, smazat] pro soubor XYZ dává uživateli Pepa právo smazat soubor XYZ.

Most network security systems operate by allowing selective use of services. An Access Control List is the usual means by which access to, and denial of, services is controlled. It is simply a list of the services available, each with a list of the hosts permitted to use the service.
